This is a video from the Parents for Window Blind Safety, an organization that I became familiar with after our friend Rick’s tragic loss. The founder of this non-profit, Linda Kaiser, lost her own daughter Cheyenne, by strangulation from window blinds cords. She has worked tirelessly to get information out to consumers to save more children but sadly she continues to get calls from parents who have lost yet another child. Please view this video, make any necessary changes to your homes and pass it on. Simply “tying up” those cords is not the answer. It’s worth it to have the ugly vinyl pull down shades. I would much rather sacrifice home fashion than risk losing my kids.

Hey all, I am in need of all of your support. ON March 15 ' Thursday ', I will be testifing in Olympia to support the ( Jaclyn Frank Bill ) it bans the use of corded window blinds in state licensed day care's in WA State, it has already passed the House 95 to 1.

As a parent who has had a child die..I wanted to mention a few things to everyone that might help
